KUSARD started a children's sponsorship program called "Sisi Ni Jamii" which is Swahili for "We are family" and we have had some responses although not to the extend of the need and we urge new supporters to please try and emulate the few who have answered the call by adopting a child and are supporting them by a monthly contribution commitment.

The program facilitates a journey between the sponsor and the sponsored child. The child becomes as part of the donor's family and the monthly support that they give goes to meet essential needs of their sponsored children, e.g things like food, clothing, medicine and education. KENYA/USA CHRISTIAN RELIEF & DEV. INC will, through your donation to the "Sisi Ni Jamii Program" not only help children in need but will also try and establish programs that can in the end enable poverty strapped individuals or families to free themselves from dependency by starting small enterprises and small scale farming in order to produce their own subsistence as well as incomes and thereby in the end becoming supporters of their own families and others in need.

Because all our staff work as volunteers except for two individuals on the ground who do the legwork, our administrative costs are miniscule and 99% of your donations go to the heart of the programs geared towards reducing poverty and bringing relief to those in dire straits.
